Thanksgiving has come and gone and the hunt is on for that perfect toy or gift that will spread holiday cheer. If you have children, you have probably memorized their list of wants that seem to grow longer with each year. Unfortunately, with all of us facing a continual tightening of the family budget, these lists of wants and our strong desire to fulfill them begin to feel quite daunting. As a parent, I know what it is like to look forward to seeing joy and surprise shine on the faces of my children as they delight in their holiday haul. But money doesn't buy happiness, and even if it could we probably couldn't afford it. Still, you can create a meaningful and memorable holiday season for your family. More
